I read in a YouTube description that the "Brand X" cartoon was a parody of a commercial? I'd like to ask, commercial for what product?

I think it was a parody of commercials in general, not a specific one.

I also think "Brand X" would be politically incorrect now because of burning an X on a cow. PETA would probably not approve of this skit.

I think the skit would be a candidate for an ongoing thread about classic skits no longer acceptable nowadays.

I forgot that there was an animated segment about brand X. I thought you were asking about the first season segment with an early unnamed Guy Smiley.
