Quite hilarious imho, and this means I might have to schedule some of my time to watch this show. I unfortunately have too much time on my hands right now, because I've unfortunately been out of a job since April, and hopefully, that'll change this month, or, I hope, SOON!!!!! (this job hunting is driving me mad)

In a way, the characters are very similar, but the big difference is that they take a look at their outside lives and very rarely show the show. The Muppet Show actually was a show within a show where we were seeing what was going on backstage WHILE the show was going on. 30 Rock, while a great show, is a show where we see the goings on in these peoples lives leading up to showtime. Although, I DO see where the characters are similar, and they HAVE used references to the Muppets in some of their shows.
