So it goes without saying, but I'm a sucker for Mayhem origin stories (and Mayhem stories in general) and this is a classic, no two ways about it! The characterization? Stellar. The dialogue? Spot on. The story? I couldn't get to the next chapter fast enough!

It's hard to pick a favorite scene because they were all so good, but anything with Zoot/Janice is a win in my book. They're a ridiculously cute and underrated couple (and that breakup scene probably would've hurt to read), but just going through the journey with them and the rest of the band was so much fun. Love them hippie babes, always and forever!

Oh, wow! I only regret that I couldn't finish the story properly but seeing this comment months later and realising that people read my very dead fics really warms my heart! Thank you so much!
