I remember this commercial, and see? Light brown M&Ms, I remember those too!

In 1995, blue M&M's were introduced, and replaced the tan candies found only in Plain M&M's.

I think this is the color you were referring to.

Hey! The CTW logo! That commercial really was so normal. I mean it didn't feel like over the top or forced hype like the last version. It was basically the news media and word of mouth that did it the first time.

I'm so happy to see these again! These behind the scenes shorts they used to have on The Disney Channel in between shows. Not only did they get me interested in the world of media, they gave me an opportunity to see Disney World (when sadly I couldn't otherwise)!

Sonic the Hedgehog

Which version? The syndicated Adventures of version with a Warner-esque twist or the ABC-approved Saturday Morning (AM) version with a far more realistically gritty feel?

I watched both, but out of the two, the SatAM version appealed to me more, for I'd must rather see Sonic as a wise-cracking, "way past cool" hero than a cross-dressing and morality-imposing (via "Sonic Sez") jokester.

But, as much as I did love the more true-to-life--and thus, admittedly darker--feel of the SatAM version (because it had well-developed character relations [whether it be the brotherly bond between Sonic the Hedgehog & Miles Prower [aka Tails], the family bonds between Sonic & his Uncle Chuck or Princess Sally Alicia Acorn & her father--King Maximillian Acorn--the sisterly bond between most of the female Freedom Fighters, and of course, the loving yet carefully-regulated bond between Sonic & Sally], well conceived storylines [such as the Freedom Fighters trying to free Uncle Chuck from Dr. Robotnik's evil clutches only to stumble every so often], a true villain worth loathing instead of a typecast egg-shaped fool [Jim Cummings made Dr. Robotnik worth fearing], etc.), I did like the fact that the corny AoStH did include standards gaming universe Badniks like Coconuts, Scratch, & Grounder.

It was adult to begin with. That and creative differences is why JK was kicked off from his own product and R&S was soon canned afterwards.
