there's was this clip from probably 1980 where Luis is performing with a band on a NYC street singing a song witch is apparently spainsih for happiness. i never new him to have been a professional musician even though he plays the guitar and this wasn't the 1st time i've seen this.

I know all the lyrics to the song, "Amigo." Here they are:
Thanks! I've had that stuck in my head all day but I was fuzzy on a few of the words!

me/yo lyrics

how does that 1 go?
To the best of my knowledge, there were a girl Muppet (voiced by Caroly Wilcox, better known as Ernie's right hand, but given a rare vocal showcase of her own) who sang in English and a boy (voiced by Luis) who handled the Spanish verse.

There might be a few words missing, such is the case when this clip hasn't been shown for a few decades and when you get to be my age the memory starts to fade, but anyhow...

Me
Everything I am is me
Everything I am is
Me in my mirror, me in by bed,
Me in the pictures I make in my head

Me
What a thing to be is me
Utterly delicious,
And since there's no choice I am sure you'll agree
There's nobody nicer sweeter smarter better don't you see
Than me.

There's also a film clip that exists of a boy playing, looking in a mirror,
lying in bed, with Joe Raposo singing the song (English only).

I remember Telly in a Spanish speaking town where it was freezing and snowing and everyone was singing, Haci Frio. Telly had no idea what that meant, until he learned it meant, cold. So all the townspeople put Telly in winter clothes.

Hace Calor

That song was on this past season:

Hace calor; mucho calor
Could fry an egg on the cement, it's so caliente
hace calor; mucho calor
Hace calor means it sure is hot!
