I saw follow that bird and ther they used a cartoon for Big birds family... Did they ever used real muppets for his family in sesame street?
And if so, are there picture from it?

the cartoon family was his imagination. If he had a real family there would be no use for Follow That Bird.

He does have a Granny Bird...he's mentioned her several times!

In the song "Tall Enough" he mentions a mom, dad, and sister...and in one of the Sesame Street Library volumes there is a comic which shows Big visiting several of his cousins

So, although TECHNICALLY we've never seen any on the show, I like to think he does have family

I vaguely recall a Granny Bird muppet with a babushka
on. I may be wrong.

In 1576, Big Bird mentions several relatives, including his Uncle Slim, a cowbird from Montana (who we see at the end of the episode)

Awwww... the old Sesame Muppet Family condundrum again, eh?

I don't really count the book versions of characters, since they are not the official Muppets used on the show..

In A Baby Sister for Herry, All of Herry's relitives look like Herry..

but the real puppets do not http://www.angelfire.com/super2/sesameak/SesameH/HerrysMom.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/super2/sesameak/SesameH/HerrysDad.jpg
