Big Bird on Today Show

Just caught a clip of Big Bird talking about the little bird episode of SS. Boy was that awkard watching Matt do BB. He kept moving too much like BB had teretz or something.

Well, you have to realize that Caroll Spinney has been performing Big Bird for nearly half a century and it will take awhile for Matt to gain the same proficiency as Caroll. Do you have a clip of that episode?

because carol is getting old and he is teaching some one new so he knows the ropes from the MAYYYNNN hehe

Matt Vogel is another muppeteer who plays Big Bird. He has been doing the Journey to Ernie segments. It's kind of approiate that Matt is doing Big Bird, since his last name means bird in German.

Yeah. I've seen that one on 'You Tube.' I picked up right away that it wasn't Carroll. I guess they usually get Matt to do Big Bird's talk show appearances while Carroll's busy with other things. One exception I want to mention though: That was definately Carroll as BB on "Dr. Phil." I really enjoyed that one.
