Has anyone seen Big Bird on Crank Yankers(I have),with evil look(because of downward eyebrows) & smoking.

I have not seen it, but I am sure that it's not the official Big Bird but a look alike used to lampoon The Muppets.

Interesting, though - one of the builders for Crank Yankers used to work on SS as a costumer.

I believe Rick Lyon has perfromed characters on both Crank Yankers and Sesame Street. In fact he even put on the REAL Big Bird costume for the intro that they've been using for the last few seasons.

Was this Big Bird prototype on CY a full bodied puppet... or a hand puppet with legs matted on screen to look big?

There was also a Big Bird drawing on a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket someone was eating from. It was either Bobbie Fletcher or Ed.
