Why, thank you Heralde. I was beginning to wonder if anybody else liked it. I know the song is ridiculous and over-the-top (as was most of the music accompanying the Esther Williams underwater sequences that obviously inspired that GMC scene) but the whole thing is just such a blast.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall during the GMC planning stages when that scene came up for discussion. I wonder if it was Jim (who directed GMC) that conceived it or one of the writers. The whole thing is just so crazy and insane, right down to the sight of Piggy underwater blowing bubbles out her nose, and yet it's so beautifully done at the same time. That had to be a hard scene to film.

But hey, we all like what we like, and vice-versa. I could be opening a huge can of worms by saying I actually liked hearing James Brown belt out "GET UP OFF OF THAT THING" while a bug-eyed Gonzo carved a message for his alien family on the lawn using a ride-on mower in MFS. That just struck me as funny for some reason. To each their own, though...

Well, hey, I found it initially hilarious, and now I've kinda warmed up to it again. The sequence, not the song.

Least Favorite: Didn't have one. Yeah, as random as "Me Party" is, I do find it sort of catchy. And Richman's rap is kind of funny.
