Here's another favourite of mine.
I guess it's not strictly a Muppet Quote, since it doesn't come from any of the Muppet TV productions. But..

A musical theatre star, performing in a cabaret act described auditioning for The Muppets as follows:

“The frog asked me if I could do silly voices, the pig asked me if I could keep my hands off the frog, and a large red pepper asked if I was over 5ft9.”

- One might add that the musical theatre actress in question did of course win her audition.
