Waldorf- (sings) You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
Statler- Why, you old fool!
Waldorf- Huh?
Statler- I'm not your son and my name's not Shine.
Waldorf- (to viewers) And he calls me an old fool...

Waldorf- How do they do it?
Statler- How do we watch it?
Waldorf- Why do we watch it?
Statler- (to viewers) Why do you watch it?

Jim Henson (from Muppets Family Christmas) - Well, they certainly seem to be having a good time out there, Sprocket.
Sprocket- Woof!
Jim Henson- Yep, I like it when they have a good time. But tell you what, somebody'll have to do something about these dishes, Sprocket. C'mon. I'll wash, you dry, okay?

^^^ LOVE THAT ONE! It touches my heart to see him at the end of the movie! But, it also saddens me, because he's not alive anymore. His work still lives on!

Does anyone remember the quote from Oscar when he camoes in Great Muppet Caper? I love that one, too, but I forgot how it goes!

Peter Ustinov: What are you doing here?
Oscar: A very brief cameo.
Peter: Me too.

Avocado with Flippers

Does anyone know where the quote "I'm an avocado with flippers" comes from? I recall it in reference to Kermit but I can't find it in any of the movies I've watched...

It's from The Muppets Go to the Movies, a 1981 TV special that was used to promote Great Muppet Caper.

When I was a kid my favorite line was always when Gonzo yelled "TAXIIIII!" and jumped in front of the taxi in The Great Muppet Caper.
