When they were on Larry King Live back in 1993 it was stated her father was killed in a tractor accident and that Piggy doesn't speak to her mother. And was forced to pose in ads for bacon.

So in some ways she does act like that to cover up the pain she has from her past.

But again as someone said you do either love her or hate her. There's no in between but if you hate her like a member on here said that just shows you think of her as a real person not just a "puppet" sorry if I broke the Muppet law there for a min. Lol!
