ANNOUNCER: "And it's time for everyone's favorite show of all time, Beat the Time!"
(fades to studio.)
ANNOUNCER: "And here's the best of all game show hosts, Guy Smiley!"
GUY: "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Welcome to Beat the Time, the show that won 66,600,066 Oscars! Now, to get things started, let's meet our contestant, Mr. Lefty the Salesman!"
(Lefty enters, sneaky.)
LEFTY: "Thank you. Thank you. Riiiiight! Hello there, Mr. Smiley o' bud."
GUY: "HELLO!"
LEFTY: "SHHH!"
GUY: (whispering) "Hello. Are you ready to play?"
LEFTY: "Riiiiight!"
GUY: (still whispering) "If you can find all of the letters of the alphabet."
LEFTY: "Riiiiight..."
GUY: (whispering a little more loudly) "You will win the whole alphabet for you to remember."
LEFTY: "Riiiiight, how would ya like to--"
GUY: (loudly) "Not now!"
LEFTY: "SHHHH!"
GUY: (whispering) "You got only 20 seconds to do it."
LEFTY: "Riiight! Riight!"
GUY: "OK, ready, get set, GO!!!!!!!!"
LEFTY: "SHHHHH!!"
GUY: (whispering) "Go already, you have 15 more seconds."
(Lefty leaves.)
GUY: (looks at the clock, and when talking he faces the audience) "I think it's impossible, but it's kinda easy to me. But--"
(Rumbling sound is heard.)
GUY: "What is it? IS THAT--"
(The wall collaspes, as the surf of letters (with Lefty with sunglasses on) crashing into the studio.)
GUY: "WOW!! YOU DID IT!! YOU WON THE JACKPOT!!!"
LEFTY: "SHHHHHH!!! Riiight!"
GUY: (whispers loudly) "Sorry."
(Big Bird enters.)
BIG BIRD: "Hey, you took all the letters of the word, (sings) 'ABCDEFCHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ'."
LEFTY: "How would you like to buy the definition?"
GUY: "Well, time flies."
(The clock flies out.)
GUY: "Time flies when you're watching 'Beat the Time.'"
(The logo shows up.)
