No subway series, too bad. Give those Tigers a lot of credit for a fantastic season and for defeating the talent laden Yankees. And congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinal fans. They barely made the playoffs with a 83-78 record. But they sure put it all together in the post season. Despite losing the WS, I would think Jim Leyland deserves manager of the year. It was such an incredible turn around and no one was predicting them to make the WS. Whereas the Cardinals have been very good for about six years now (But granted, this was the first time in that span they got the title).

I payed no attention to the Word Series. Once the Yanks were out, I felt it was only fair to root for the Amazin's. But once they blew it (like usual) I just didn't care. An exciting season with a big let down for us here on the East coast. :frown:
