I'll tell you a bad baby name...CURLY BEAR! It just sounds dumb.
Especially if you're neither curly, nor a bear. Then it's just weird!

(but also cute)

Here is a bad name. A friend of mine's grandson is Man Pittman. Yup, first name Man. I can't remember his middle name but I think it was normal.

Speaking of baby names. I will tell you what is frightening for a baby name. Coming this close to having Britney Spears name her baby the same name as yours. :boo: First and middle name exactly! Phew! Fortunately they went with Sean Preston.

It could get worse than being named the same thing as Spears' baby, though. A buddy of mine from middle school was named after one of the Columbine killers because his older sister was friends with him when they were little kids. He almost changed his first name after that happened back in 99'.

Anywho, quite frankly, I've grown sick of my name (Matthew) these days. No matter where I go, there's always several other "Matt"s and this becomes quite a nuisance. IE, my lecture science class has five Matts in it. A bad name? No. Just over-used back in the 80's...

I'm glad Preston escaped! What's his middle name? If I knew it, I've forgotten.

Its a sad day when your puppet alter-ego gets more Google hits than you.

The only site that comes up for me, though, is one through my university. My actual website winds up appearing on page 15 or so.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's ... a poopie diaper? Entertainment Tonight reports that Nicolas Cage, 41, and wife Alice Kim, 21, welcomed son Kal-el Coppola Cage Monday in New York. Yes, you read that right: The Oscar winner and comic book fanatic (he took his last name from superhero Luke Cage) has christened his offspring with Superman's Krpytonian moniker, thus assuring plenty of playground teasing from the likes of little Apple, Phinnaeus, Pilot Inspektor, Moxie CrimeFighter and Audio Science. Cage isn't the first celebrity to seek baby name inspiration from the comics: Director Kevin Smith named his daughter Harley Quinn, an appellation inspired by the Joker's homicidal moll.
i went thru a stage in my younger years when i was absolutely naming my first born son kal-el, so this isnt strange to me at all...i still think its a great name. i actually have my first child on the way, due in 9 weeks - a boy, and naming him is the hardest thing ive had to do! my husband hates everything i like, if he had his way our son would be called jack, despite the fact that we know several couples who have already called their sons this, plus uncles, cousins and friends...id like to avoid the child going to school with five other kids with the same name.
i like beau.

Nyssa, I hate it really. No one knows how to pronounce it. Nizza, Nessa, Neesa, and Neza are most common. I even got Melissa once, don't ask me how. It pronounced Niss(like miss)-a, Nissa. Not that hard right? Wrong! Oh, and in case you're wondering I'm named after Nyssa from the British TV show "Doctor Who"
