Pics of an early back stage in the box are on eBay...

Looks ok I guess. Obviously there is an entire level missing and I think having this in such a small box will limit sales. Interesting choice of Muppets used. I hope Rowlf is on there somewhere. I mean, he is the figure in the package. I do like the multi-Muppet look. Would have been nice if done in the red curtain style though. Oh well, looks cool.

I don't think the box will limit sales at all since 99% of those buying this will be doing so on-line. Outside of the rare local comic shop, it won't be available in any other brick and mortar stores.

I'm with you on the red curtain. Always preferred that over the blue.

Oh, I thought Suncoast picked these up. Glad I got in on that EBgames deal.

That looks pretty cool! Hopefully the final version will be better. I agree, it should use the red curtains (much like the Jim Henson figure) since this seems to be such an important item  Who knows, maybe they'll change it by the time it comes out. You never know...

No they won't. Why give false hope? If such a drastic change were to happen they would have said so in the description.

Missed this thread...! Wow, looks good, I guess...Is there even a Rowlf on the box, though? I don't think I saw one...Maybe it's on the left side perhaps...?

According to the people that have seen it in person Rowlf is not on the box. Seems like a pretty stupid mistake.

It really is. Oh, BTW, thanks for posting that link. If you check out the other Palisades auctions it shows the prototypes of stuff before the bit comes out. It seems like an eternity that I have been waiting to see some S9 accessory shots. I was really anticipating seeing the Classic Swedish Chef stuff, like the hoop and such.

Oh yeah, there is a final shot of the Chef (or at least what the final shot is suppose to look like). Lots of shadow and stuff.

I still looks alright. I wonder how long it'll be till we see better "up-close" shots of the Chicken-in-der-baskee? I really need a close up.
