Tonight, I was totally on channel Z! Oh gosh, I had the most amazing time tonight...I know some of you like the B-52's, as I just got back from an amazing hour and a half show they put on at the California state fair tonight. It was so cool, got in for free, and couldnt believe what a kick butt show they put on. They have been one of my fave bands since I was growing up, so it was so rad to see them finally...they rocked my knee high invader zim socks off^_^

I just love how truly different the B-52's are...they represent the kind of imaginative wacky innocence and creativity I felt growing up in the 80's...so its really very special to see a band that totally encapsulates that fun artsy party type of feeling.

So cool to see this post punk art wave band play at the state fair, and they played all their really obscure songs as well as their more famous hits. The lead singer Fred Schneider was electric, looking as cool as ever, as well as Kate and Cindy and the rest of the band.
Anyone else have any cool B-52 concert memories?

I was so happy people liked my Beaker shirt I wore, and I won a Bunsen Honeydew plush at the midway(as well as saw some cool fireworks and checked out the cute nerdy artsy girls there) So yes, quite the fun adventure! ^_^

Btw, has the B-52's ever worked with the Muppets in some capacity? They totally seem like they'd fit right in.
