I don't really like that cast in that video. The one playing Kate was looking at the camera while Kate was just looking off somewhere. Lucky for me, I don't like in London.

Original Broadway cast member Ann Harada is in this though and she's awesome. Also interesting to see a man playing Gary for a change.

I think the footage was filmed without an audience, with the laughter track and the audience inserts added later, so to give the (very talented) girl a chance the camera was her only audience. But yes, it does look good.

This role went through a number of changes during previews. He was originally just an ex child star called Gary, as the creatives were worried a Brit audience wouldn't know who he was. Quite a few references like that have been changed.
