Hi all! I just got some great news via email from one of our customers. Avenue Q is holding a what they call the One Night Stand on Avenue Q contest. Our customer used the Punto Pattern and their own creative genius to create a wonderful looking puppet (and a great character) that is now in the top ten finalists of the contest. The puppet's name is Leland. Take a look at the finalists and cast your vote!

Guess what!? I was trying to post this last night because I built the Maurice puppet in that contest and I just received an email yesterday as well.

It looks like we both have "one of our babies" in the contest. I have already voted.

I just want to clarify that it was one of my customers who did all the hard work and created the character.

Blink - That's great! I didn't even know about the contest. Can't wait for the results in January! But really when it comes to puppets - everybody wins.

This is so exciting! One of my customers emailed me this morning to tell me her puppet "Senti L. Singer" had been chosen as well. Since I sell fleece to so many it is fun to see how many of those chosen were made from "GA Stage" fleece. Good Luck to everyone. They are all terrific! :excited:

Hey Kathy,

Just so you know the fleece I used for Maurice is your fleece as well. So you have another Georgia Stage antron fleece puppet in the contest.

Hi Kanja,

How great! Like I said it is really exciting to see what everyone creates with this fabric. Each one is so different I can't wait to see which one is chosen. It's exciting for GA Stage to be a part of it. Good Luck to you !
