Hi yet again,

One final project I'm working on at the minute for myself is a working Audrey II puppet from The Little Shop of Horrors.

The version I have been working on is around the size of the stage 2 pod but with some of the features of the later pods. I think it is a little bit at the extreme end of the man-eating plant spectrum with some vicious looking teeth.

I have also been looking at building in a mechanism to allow it to have multiple working limbs/tentacles, which i think i have managed to find the perfect solution to but more about that in later posts. For now, here are the first head shots.

Hope you like.

In the 1986 film musical, Audrey was a puppet. The film was directed by Frank Oz and while Jim Henson had no involvement, Audrey's principle puppeteer was Brian.

Yeah, the teeth were white makeup sponges dipped in dye for a few seconds. The problem i always have with makeup sponge is that it's hard to cut it smooth for teeth, but in this case the rough, broken look works.
