Could you run to the hills if called upon to do so?

Anything but Math.
Music, Reading, Spelling, Geography, Art, loved them.
English, History, Science, did okay.
Algebra, two miserable years of failure.

Over thirty years since flunking Algebra, I still never was called upon to Solve For X in any job, band rehearsal, club gig, or church meeting.
Math is my least favorite as well. I didn't even do well at the subject and the grades weren't great either. In fact, I couldn't wait until the class was over.

Growing up, my favorite author was Roald Dahl. Many of his books made into movies:

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
James and the Giant Peach
Fantastic Mr. Fox

Lillian and Russell Hoban:
Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas (yes, I read the book before Jim made it an immortal classic)
Harvey's Hideout

And I LOVED Richard Scarry.

My current fixture is the Bible.

Ronald Dahl continues to be awesome.
Fiction-wise, what books have you most enjoyed of late?
