We're trying to get Scooter out of it!!! Since you left Ken, Travis just keeps going in and sitting at you're desk crying. At first it was ok, but now...he has 3 or 4 meetings a day with "you"...which consist of him going into you're area and talking to random figures addressing them as "Ken". This boy needs help...

I have a question, Ken, although it seems like more of a "pipe dream" in my mind...

What would the possibilities of releasing a complete Electric Mayhem variant "set" be? Being that all of the definite figures for the first three seasons have variants, would it be possible to put together a variant set with, say a repaint or slightly modified Animal with the stage? I would DEFINITELY buy at least one (maybe a couple)...

Actually i can just imagine Ken sitting around the pool dressed as 'Vacation Fozzie' with his Hawaian shirt, briefcase and inner tube - all in the name of 'product development' of course !

No Ken, we only do work when you are here. When you're in China, it's one big party!!

Seriously though -- PR guy taking over -- we here at Palisades like to have a good time, but we work hard too. So we only post on Muppet Central in the mornings before work, during our lunch break, and after work is over. Most of the time. There are always exceptions.

Thank you for your time. And now back to rumaging through Ken's office.

You know how expensive that would be? Probably so much so that it would not move well at retail. Anything's possible, don't get me wrong, but there would need to be something choice about it to get it to sell, like a Lips figure in a six pack with the whole band repainted.

You would still have a ton of peeps cheesed off though that they had to buy a 50 retail item to get one new figure. I do, when I have to just pay 20 bucks to get a new Batman Animated figure with three godawful repaints.

It kinda sounds like the kiss set with the stage... At first I thought it was ridiculous that it's 45-50 retail, but when you can physically pick it up and look at it, you (at least I) realized that it would be totally worth it.

I'd pay 50 bucks for an EM set!

Lots of us Muppet freaks, err, I mean fans would pay $50 for an EM set-- but how many casual fans and generic figure collectors would? I don't think enough to make it profitable. I suspect it would be a tough sell to the retailers in the first place.

It's easy for us to get caught up in what we want and what we'd pay, but all the Muppet products have to appeal to consumers outside the inner Muppet fan circle.
