Hey Jamie,

I really agree with you - EBGames have really been pushing it with these online order delays. It seems they have been the latest to get practically everything.

If everyone else has managed it, i don't see why they should have an excuse to be so slow !

It is happening with TRU too. I just don't get it. Maybe I'll go with different companies in the future.

the problems with some of the others is the pricing...because the price from Palisades is more of a "suggestion" than an actual price, it gets difficult to buy them from an online store and not get ripped off...

if you have to buy online, though...try www.amoktime.com

i understand they do a pretty good job with both pricing and shipping, but you won't be able to get the exclusives...

personally, i like going to get them from a store, i think mail order is cheating...but then, i live in a city with 4 TRUs, 4 EBs, 2 Suncoasts, and 3 KBs (that i can remember) - plus the prerequisite walmarts, kmarts, targets, etc...finding toys is usually just a matter of time...

Thanx! I'll check that out. I don't think mail order is cheating though. You have to recognize that Muppet fans aren't necessarily action figure collectors and even though this is a figure line - an enormous segment of consumers for this product don't find it fun traveling from shop to shop. Shopping for anything has never been a thrill for me - except for the old Muppet Stuff store in NY, but that was more of a rare experience than a shopping trip.

As with most products - I expect to be able to order the item listed online and get it in good condition. I would play the "store game" and would actually prefer it, but they don't reserve at most places in this city and they don't keep their stock very current. :frown:

Guys, you have to understand that EB puts out the very first date that a company gives them. I.E they still have august 3rd as the series two release. Then when they get updates from their distributors they have to change the release dates. And EB has always been a little odd on most release dates.

I see your point...i was thinking in terms of toys, and not in terms of Muppets...which in this case was an incorrect thing to do.

save for two, i got all my Muppets at the store, but i found MC after i had already gotten them (except Muppet Labs, obviously)...traveled here from a link on the Palisades site...i have to admit i've spent a lot of time here since then...

(ps...everybody dig my sig addition? it's gonna be great to rub that in a friend of mine's face...so i'm gloating now...)

What's the dwindling number of VC Beakers down to?

Still plenty for club members!

how long/tall are the lobster bandits and do they have any articulation? I was asking cause I think it might be soemthign to take into account as you're trying to figure out the size of Rizzo/Pepe.

About an inch and a half long. No articulation. Just PVC. Sorry...had to cut some corners SOMEWHERE in this monstrosity of a Playset!

Now, I have absolutely no problem with Palisades because it is evidently not their fault, but what the heck is up with these new push backs?

Wish I knew...totally out of our hands now.

that is frikkin' cool! Congratulations...great school, weird but neat town. WAY too hot down there in the, well, most of the year. But it's a great school, and good to see a fellow alumni makin' his way out into the workin' world. Good luck. Was your major actually Computer Art 2D Animation, or Sequential Art? When I was there I believe SA covered whatever you decided to specialize in, but if they are getting more specific then the program must be doing as well as it was when I left.

And hey...where are my ten useless points? I earned 'em...
