Your criticisms about the Peanuts figures are fairly valid. However one thing you apparantly did not notice was that each of the characters come with multiple expressions. Some happy, some sad, some eyes open, some closed. There are also different themes of the same figures like a Halloween Schroeder w/ candelabra rather than normal Schroder w/ bust.

In other words, there are a TON of variants for each figure. If you don't like their facial expression or outfit, you either need to look elsewhere or wait for another variation.

Personally, I found the variable facial expressions to both be interesting and annoying at the same time. It makes it a lot more difficult to find the character with the expression you want.

If people do not buy the Mega Beakers and Animals, there will be no Mega Rowlf. I'm not wild about the megas, but I think they're cool. And I think that the mouth is articulated, but for the head to do that clicking thing would really drive up the price. Some would feel okay if the megas stopped after Animal, but if you are holding out for a particular character, then making an investment in a beautifully crafted mega is a good idea.
But it's like i said, i don't care for the mega line at all, if Rowlf doesn't come out, oh-well, it won't be the end of the world for me, if he does come out i am buying him, but i'm not buying animal beaker and the chef just for Rowlf to come out, what if it did end before rowlf came out, then i would be stuck with these three. Not to say they are not cool, but i would rather have other muppets insead, such as Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo. if those were the first three meaga to come out and then a rowlf. i'm just taking a "money saving gamble"....(mother would be proud)

if the line goes to rowlf and keeps going, i'm only buying Rowlf, but it's really not a big deal to me, the rowlf action figure's are perfect for me.

I mean if the mega line did end sooner wouldn't that just mean more money could be used on the action figures and PCV's or would that mean Palisades lost too much money if the mega line ended to begin with?

I guess that is my main complaint about the expressions. Plus, nearly every Charlie Brown I've seen have had the face painted off-center from the nose. I FINALLY found a CB with a decently painted face, though.

I only have one place to shop for these here, and that's at Suncoast, same place I get my Muppet figures. I had a second set of Series One Muppet Figures still in their packages which I traded off for the Peanuts figs.

Yes, I still have my OPENED Series One Mups.

Hickey Hill, Southern/Colonial, and Wolfchase area.

I've looked. :frown:

Well, unLESS they have more now?

I only need my ordered Great Pumpkin set to come in and a psychiatric booth and I'll be okay with my sets.

Also - making the head pop up and down, voice chips etc would make the mega very expensive for the small-scale run. Just seems to me that some think that all of this can magically happen because we wish it so, but it takes "moneys" all of it. Lots of moneys. One thing is certain - a year ago - more of us would have jumped at the chance for these megas.
I knew the head poping up and down would cost more money, i even stated it in my post, if other people think it can " magically" happen, well, no it can't. I'm just saying i'm not one of these people's.

yeah i'd buy the mega's if they came out a year ago providing that there was no such thing as muppet action figures and PVC coming soon. Meaning Palisade's was only making these mega figures and nothing else. which would be kinda weird, and if the first one didn't sell at all we wouldn't be seeing a lot more of them.

Sure the mega's are cool, there mega Muppets! but i also think a big screen tv with a DVD, VCR and seround sound is cool, but i'm not buying one anytime soon;-)

Can't remember the exact numbers right now at home, but yes Henson took some of the production run and so did we. Their header card has their name and ours has ours.

It's legit....

Hey Ken,
What's up with the Palisades board? It's been PCBD since last night.
