How's everybody doing? Whew...what a long day. Looked at tons of stuff. Saw all the Muppets 2 in its current state, all looking good so far. The EM set was in a more revised package and had some details added in, and the specs that incredeeble! have are pretty dead on for the sizes. This is a huge friggin box. It is probably bigger than it needs to be, but that happens when the test shot isn't complete and you have to get a package approved and ready beforehand. Looks great though.

What I'm wondering about is the EM playset. You had said earlier that the frame in the back (can't think of what it's called- the thing that's metal on the real thing, structure the lights hang from) was going to be raised up another inch, so the logo could be seen. Doesn't look any different in the pics, was this not done in time for SDCC or was it decided against in the end? Or do I just have bad eyes. Another thing, I looked at the packaged pic and it looks about the same length as the Lab playset box but about 6 inches taller! It looks as if the playset itself is about 3-4 inches taller. Is this right?

The logo was raised up from the original sculpt about 1.5 inches. Not from the picture you are looking at. In other words, the picture you are looking at IS with the extra height.

How about a guitar case and and an extra case for Floyd's bass? [In the EM Bus playset]

Anything's possible, if the budget is there for it. As for the figures in the bus...of COURSE they will fit in the bus. Not the whole Muppet gang but at least the band. BUT...some will have a problem sitting in the bus...but we'll figure something out. All the ideas and stuff are being recorded in my brain for possibilities...so don't fret. I was wondering myself just how much deviation there should be on this one...should there be a portable stage area? Stuff like that. Who knows?

EM Bus

Portable stage area? Stuff like that?

Yes, Ken, definitely yes.

I think you should take some liberties, just one thing, don't make it come out like the Partridge Family bus. :stick_out_tongue:

I think you should have a scratch-n-sniff area of the bus that would smell like oh....patchouli. Or incense of some kind. You know that bus has gotta be FUNKAY.

CDs and Heidi Klum....

OR OR OR.....

Get Henson to compile a brief CD, like six tracks long, of previously unreleased Electric Mayhem tunes from The Muppet Show...or a greatest hits of previously released stuff. Pack THAT sucker in there!

There's nothing wrong with dreaming. Except that Law and Order dream I had last night....Angie Harmon....mmmm....

KEN, speaking of MMMM.....this month's GQ has Heidi Klum on the cover and inside in a yummy photo spread, which at various points includes whipped cream and not much else. She also dresses up like famous sexpots of the past, like Raquel Welch, Farah Fawcett, etc....

Well worth your time. Hope they get GQ in Hong Kong!!!

That would be cool to be able to "turn on" the bus and have it play Electric Mayhem music like it's blasting from the stereo.

How 'bout if the side opens up and the van becomes a vendor window to sell all the EM T-shirts, hats, CDs, and other various concert swag along side the EM stage? Now that would be cool, and it would accessorize the other playset as well!

I'm still holding my breath for more miniature band equipment to come with the bus.
