Glad you got them no problem - several people around the board did. Many didn't even know about the line until they were shelved, and in some cases they never made it to the shelves at all! And they were a week or so late to stock them. I just wouldn't recomment TRU to anyone.

I know what you mean about TRU. Mine only just got them in and they're all Kermits and Piggys. When I asked them a month ago about when the figures would be coming in they didnt know.

I have a question for erm ... anyone who knows - do Palisades have the rights to produce Muppet action figures for the new Christmas Movie and the Upcoming Fox TV Show ?

Thought thats quite interesting seeing as there would be plenty of new characters upcoming that could be included (especially on the back of all the TV exposure) that us lot haven't even figured into the line yet ! (get it ... figured ! snarf snarf )

Seriously, the only thing i've heard from anyone about Swamp Years is 'Cute' - i think i'm gonna start betting on how many times the word 'cute' is used in the MC 'Swamp Years' reviews. I guess if you can't say anything nice about something ... just say it's 'cute' !!

No we don't have any of those rights. If the shows have some cool characters we can always see later on.

simon42 I've heard conflicting things about the next wave. Will it come out in September or October? Will Animal come out at the same time the figures do?

You will start seeing Series 2 on shelf some time in October. Animal will be a few weeks after, but not as long as the Labs one was. We wave ship, and the playset goes with the second wave of figures, bit the first wave, so come place will have figures before sets.

Absolutely...but I don't know what other things she might have other than a hat right now. Sculpt is done, so when the bus gets started we'll make the determination.

What about doing a playset with the four African Mask Puppets. They are always remembered very fondly by everyone. It could be a four pack playset with the African background and the four Mask puppets similar to the orginal "Treehouse of Horrors" playset. I found this post going wayyyyy back to page 28 (or 5-14-02). I think that this would make a VERY COOL set of toys (or maybe pvcs???)... I guess the problem would be that it probably only be known to the big fans of the show.
Just wondering if anyone shared the same sentiment on these???
