This is a little off topic but oh well, Ken, I heard that you collect The Simpsons Line. I was wondering do you know what happen to the proposed Dr. Nick Figure?

Y'know after seeing that Sweedish Chef kitchen and the other Muppet playsets any of the Simpsons ones just look so flat and basic. I was looking forward to Moe's Bar but it just looks yucky and crowded. The Hawian Smithers figure looks cool though and Burns Manor looks pretty ok.

I think one things for sure though - we need an Electric Mayhem Bus playset, definitely one for the wishlist !

Ken... Since you didn't give your opinion on my suggestions, I will make you a question now...

Is there any way for the Cosmic Fishes of Knowledge to come with Lew Zealand? The Cosmic Fishes of Knowledge are the ones who tell Gonzo that his family is looking for him, in Muppets From Space ("We know many many things", "May the Fish be with you")...

I would really like to have these...

I will post the suggestions again for you to opinate...

I really agree with you, the Simpsons playsets look unimpressive. Now this is not to say that they are cummy or that the Simpsons are not wonderful characters. It's just that my introduction to this world of action figures has been recent and the Muppets seem to be the standard now.

The Simpsons characters do not require texturing or complicated paints. They are great cartoon representations, but the playsets really seem stark and flat. If I would have collected anything it would be Moe's bar, but there really doesn't seem to be much to it. That's why these playsets and figures cost more - you get what you pay for. We are fortunate that a company like Palisades got the rights to our beloved Muppets!

-Again, nothing aganst the Simpsons line, it just doesn't have the umf that the Muppet Show line has, but they did pave the way!

Ken... These are some sugestions I made in another thread...

I would like you to see them and give your opinion when you don't have anything else to do... and are really bored... and have lost interest in life... and are questioning your identity... It doesn't have to be right away... Only when you feel like doing it... I don't want to pressure you... Please! Don't feel obligated to do it... See... I'm being nice like my therapist told me to...

1 - Robin should come with Sweetums in the Backstage Playset.

2 - The Kitchen Playset should come with three or four regular rats that we could put inside the round thing which you fill with water to boil (I don't know the name).

3 - Gonzo with a purple suit should come with a trumpet and a rubber tire.

4 - Janice should come with a little Rockin' Robin Bird and that circular instrument with little bells that we pat to make "tching tching" (I don't know the name).

5 - The Newsman should come with a sheep and a Venus Statue.

6 - In the series concerning Veteranarian's Hospital, a Gorila should come out as a Figure with coconuts and a palm tree or a Teleport Machine to add to the Muppet Labs Playset (then we could have an Exclusive Chinese Gorila Dancing Ballet) so that there could be a pacient to put on the Veteranarian's Hospital Metal Bed... Also this way Beaker won't be alone anymore...

7 - Beauregard should come with a little fridge so that we could put the Rats that came with the Kitchen Playset inside it.

8 - Scooter as a Guy Who Sells Stuff with Organic Popcorn and little table could come out as an exclusive.

9 - Nurse Piggy should come with Foo Foo (what do we need a Veteranarian's Hospital if we have no aditional animals?).

10 - Since Fozzie needs a little hammer to smack Kermit on the neck, let it come as a prop with the Backstage Playset.

Thank you!

Ken... Since you didn't give your opinion on my suggestions, I will make you a question now...

I usually don't respond to suggestions, I just read them. Otherwise what am I going to say really?

Is there any way for the Cosmic Fishes of Knowledge to come with Lew Zealand? The Cosmic Fishes of Knowledge are the ones who tell Gonzo that his family is looking for him, in Muppets From Space ("We know many many things", "May the Fish be with you")...

Nah...they don't really fit with Lew. He should have the fish he interacts with.

I have a question regarding the proposed Mega Muppet line. I just read MWC's review of the Faces of Springfield mega Simpsons line, and one of the complaints was that the figures were made of hollow vinyl like soft plastic throughout, like figural plastic banks would be. Can you tell us what the plans are for the Mega Muppets? Would they be similar to the regular line, with solid plastic appendages and hard shell plastic torsos?

No hollow vinyl here. Blown up versions of the regular figures. Solid PVC, hollow torsos and the like. Thus the $25 versus whatever low price the Simpson's stuff is. Some might have real hair and stuff if we can work it out. I need to get my hands on an Igel Beaker and Travis won't give me his (some team player...BAH!) Anybody got one they can donate to the cause? I won't be able to return it. Maybe one that is totally messed up except for the head/hair? Lemme know.

I kid Travis...he's a good guy though...all in fun. But man....YAWN...I am so tired....SLEEPY tired...gonna have to go to bed soon and make sure I set my alarm clock....maybe I need a wake up call...really tired though...might not hear the phone....YAWN...
