Are the episodes in chronological order?

Scooter appeared in the first episode guest starring Juliette Prowst, and then in the Jim Neighbors episode as if he were appearing for the first time. Well, this is how they made the show, a bit inconsistant if not confusing, but true.

It's actually not that confussing, as Alex tried to tell before. This is from the muppet morsels on the Jim Nabor episode.

"There is a reason he is introduced in this episode. Scooter did not appear in the Rita Moreno episode -the first one to air in many markets. This may have been to aviod the introduction of too many new characters on the first episode.
This episode aired next in most markets, so Scooter could be given a propper introduction."
