...coool! so why the heck are they listed as 80 minutes instead of 85 (as per Time/Life)?

The time differences are probably just based on how they add up the minutes. TimeLife might have added the "easter eggs" to the total time where as Columbia did not.

I remember that when BeunaVista released A Muppet Family Christmas I think they listed it as 48 minutes and then when Columbia released it it waas listed at 42 minutes. They were the exact same cut of the show but I think BeunaVista included the Coming Attractions as part of the play time.

It's probably something simple like that.

The same thing goes with CD's, too. And pretty much everything else....

I guess they have to keep prices reasonable and our dollar is worth so little that it works out. Unfortunately, it is only "cheap" to people who DON'T get paid in Canadian dollars!

Hear, hear!

or, here, here, I guess...

Well, that's good news for sure, that the discs are the same. It'd be magnificent, though, if Columbia would say "hey, we're bringin' them all out this week..."

or at least some schedule.

any ideas, kids (now that we're talking! ) about getting the T/L discs bulk? I'm sure some other Canadians might go along with moi.
