I didn't think this would be coming, since season 5 was last released a few years ago and this seems to be the big old shame for the show, but it's been announced that "Saturday Night Live: The Complete Sixth Season" is coming to DVD this summer. Bonus features will include three compilations: "The Best of SNL Before Season 6", "The Best of SNL After Season 6", and "The Worst of SNL Outside Season 6".
