Apology plus a rant

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been around much.But life on the home front hasn't exactly been easy. My sister moved out of the house a week or so ago (her choice) so it's just my mother & I here. (OK...granted she's 25 & entitled to her freedom,but I still miss her) Between my sister having moved out & my dad having died last year, I feel abandoned.*sigh* Mom reassured me that at least we still have each other. She's right.
NOW....I am ready to blow my ever loving top about something(it's NOT about here, I promise)
Because of everything that's gone on down here I'd been really sad & depressed. My sister in law sent me a card saying that she hopes I'm doing OK despite everything going on. But my older brother?? Not so much!! He barely talks to me! Today is my mother's birthday & he called to wish her a happy birthday. She was out when he called,so he just said "OK..tell her I called." Nothing else. Nothing about "How are you doing without Jen there?" Diddlysquat! All right..granted he was calling from out of state,but geez!It wouldn't have taken him too long to have a darn conversation with me! *snif*

I'm sorry to hear that Kathy! Brothers can be so stupid sometimes (not that I'd know I guess, it just sounded right...). HUGS to you.

Hey Kath... Sorta know what you're... Well, it was tough that first year or two after my dad died. But here we are thirteen and a quarter years after still going on. My second brother moved out of home last year to live with his girlfriend, so that's kinda similar I guess... Though they're moving back to the Metro San Juan area for work and continued study reasons. As for siblings, well, they're people and have lives too. Granted he should've at least talked a little with you to find out how you're doing... Maybe he didn't have that much time... Don't know, just trying to help you out kiddo.

Know that if you need us to talk to, we're here. And it's not just your mom and you, you've got Prairie and Gaffer there too.

If you ever want to ask me questions about the Scriptures I will try my best to answer. I know how difficult The Old Testament can be to understand in particular. I pray for all your surviving family as well. Including your brother who I hope really cares for you deep down in his heart.
My dad hardly ever contacts me but I know his love is genuine in his own way.

Aww, I'm sorry to here that Kathy. Maybe with any luck, he'll come to Florida and take you out or something to make it up to you. One can only hope! *wink* Keep us updated, won't you? I don't like to think of you being mistreated!
