I don't like the whole idea of such a show nor any other reality or tabloid shows. No matter how much it may seem that the nannies are helping these families, there is inevitably something exploitive about it. Parents and children are being put on display as a type of freak show and serious issues such as parenting and family stability are being turned into sensationalism. Sure, the parents agree to do it, but the children have no choice. Maybe it's because I'm a social worker who has worked with families, but I take it seriously and turning problems into public entertainment seems unthinkable. It's not just Nanny 9-1-1; it's every reality and tabloid talk show out there. I keep going back to a line from the movie, the Indian In The Cupboard, "They're people! You can't use people!" JMO
