Anyone have Skype?

hubby and i recently added skype to our computers works well enough for what it is takes a little while to get use to the delay though.. but will save us tons of $ while he's on deployment

Hmmm, there shouldn't really be a delay as far as I know, although I have had some problems with feedback, Etc. Yeah, it definately is a great value!

oh there is definatley a delay.. we were playing with it while we were just across the room and there was a noticable delay on the voice chat of a few seconds. nothing real bad though.. much better then the old military relay calls

Oh yeah, I noticed that when my cousin and I were playing with it sitting right next to each other. I guess you just don't notice it when you're talking to someone long distance.

Okay, I know this thread is old and everyone says Skype is dead and/or much harder to use than it was, but I've got mine up and running, and while there's a lot more spam on it than there used to be, it seems not too much else has changed. Is there a chance that anyone else here still uses it?

Anyway, as for Skype, yeah, I lost access to it for many years, then worked hard to get it back for one particular person who I'm not even sure was worth it, so...
