Let's examine why as of yet, there has not been a new Muppet show since 1996.
There was the 2002 Team Todd produced Fox Muppet show "edgy" prime time show that never happened
There was the America's Next Muppet pitch taped that never aired
There's "Muppets TV" which I hate to say, I don't count as actual official
Muppet canon
Aw...but along comes...these things, these things called pilot pitches.
Usually the length of a full 22 minute episode. In 1975 it was Sex and Violence, the precursor to the Muppet Show. In 1987 it was Inner Tube, the precursor to Jim Henson Hour. In 1995 it was "Muppets Live!", the precursor
to Muppets Tonight!
Well...I am not sure if I can spill the beans on anything yet detail wise,
but something has definately just been put in the can...and it aint Oscar's
moldy sardines

76 is the Muppet show
I am unsure about 89
96 was muppets Tonight
2007 = ?????
1989 was the Jim Henson Hour, which is officially the second Muppet Show, Muppets Tonight being the third.

These look like the start of new shows, so 2007 is another new show, so I guess it means Muppets TV has been approved for more shows??
Oh no, Muppets TV was just a kind of obscure French tv exclusive thing, made for a French audience.

I hope the other thing is a new MuppetFest or some kind of convention.
Yes, another Muppetfest event would be pretty sweet
