I had always heard of the well known New York puppet character Rapid T Rabbit, but it wasn't til recently I got to check out a lot of his appearences and cable access shows on youtube.

Here's Telly from Sesame Street laying the smackdown on Rabid T Rabbit in an obscure, rare "backstage" at Sesame video

I think calling Rapid T Rabbit "well known" might be a stretch, but I've always loved that clip.

Little-known fact: Telly is surprising violent.

Me? Famous? heh heh

Well it's really Big Bird that I've been friends with nearly 37 years.

I got drop-kicked by Telly way back in 1991, twelve years later he did kiss and make up in time for my 20th anniversary TV episode. Anybody want to see that clip?

I posted the shorter clip of it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4gXgMQFaTM

I think it's just amazing how connected/immersed in the world of the Muppets and Sesame Street you've been over the decades.
Seeing those pictures of you hugging Snuffy and Barkley were just way too cool.

Your Awsome Rapid T Rabbit! To be honest, when I first started geting interested in Chuck E Cheese, and Showbiz Pizza, your interview with Looney Bird was one of the first things I watched.

I so love this, Rapid T Rabbit with a whole episode in a circa 1984 Pizza Time Theater(Chuck E Cheese) Man this brings back memories:

No, I was referring to my meetup with Telly again twelve years after the drop-kick. That full episode is archived here...

Wow, talk about the dark side of Telly! So bizarre seeing your
character get harassed and hazed by Telly, Oscar and Big Bird for 7 and a half minutes. It's just a rare treat to see this totally guerrilla underground side of beloved Sesame Muppet characters, outside of the control of Sesame Workshop.

Oh same here. As soon as I saw the Rockafire movie trailer I found the Rapid T Rabbit interview with Rockafire's Looney Bird and was just in awe. Any fan of puppetry on here should see it:
