Does anyone else Love the original Telly that was on the show from 1979-1984? I just think his voice was awsome back then, and loved that Raspy soft spoken whinny voice he had. When Marty Robbinson took over the role, he made Telly sound about as much like Brian's as he could for the first year, then after that he started performing Telly his own way. I say nothing beats the soft spoken original Telly from the early 80's. What do u all think? anyone else feel the same way?

Hate to disagree, but Telly's original voice got on my nerves. The whiny Telly just didn't do anything for me. He seemed so uptight back then.

This is sort of interesting because this was sort of before my time, yet people have mentioned that skits with Brian's Telly have been played up until the late 80s, so maybe I have heard Brian's Telly before. I do remember him sounding pretty whiny at times, especially when he worried about things. I never really thought that Brian's and Marty's Telly were that different.
