ok, once i dye the fleece in the hot water to the color i want it to be, i was told to "Squeeze" the water out not Wring it.....do i rince in cold water???

Yup, you want to use cold water because it won't affect the dye.

What I do at this stage is place the fleece in the sink (make sure it's clean before you start) and then run cold water on it to rinse the fleece. Once I've rinsed the fleece I shut the tap off and squeeze most of the water out of it, then repeat that whole process one or two more times.
