I do feel kind bad for him though. Poor guy has never experienced how absolutely psychotic fans of children's entertainment can be. I've never seen a fandom so absolutely mental. WHO THINKS OF Onceler on Onceler porn? Every time I want an image for my avatar I have to be scarred for life because of that WITH Safe search on *facepalm*

Even though I do think there is a certain sexiness to the Onceler, it's certainly not why I like him. First of all, he's a dork. I happen to like dorky characters. He's funny (Ed Helms does a great job), and he's not one-dimensional. He let greed and (SPOILER) the wanting of his parents approval get the better of him, but he did actually care about the Lorax even if he didn't show it. Plus, the animation on him is great. He has some hilarious and XD worthy facial expressions.

I've seen so many things that are on so many levels of wrong that Oncest doesn't even sound weird to me. The internet is where weird fetishes go to grow and spread. You just have to do all your web searches with safe search on, and get 1/10th or what you're looking for.

I just pity any celebrity that accidentally falls onto any of this. Photomanips, characters they did voices of doing crazy X-rated stuff... there's a reason I don't look at other people's D.A. favorites anymore. I find such crazy stuff that's beyond explanation. The weirdest thing? People who ACTUALLY like Alpha and Omega!

Now, going all the way back to the Grinch remake... here's the million dollar question. Who's going to play the titular character? There's so many directions to go in, and no doubt they want him menacing and lovable (Universal LOVES their menacing but lovable). It's just that balance that's the key. I can't think of anyone I'd like to see as the Grinch, actually.

How many times have I said it? There's a LOT of different sexual fantasies and fetishes in fandoms that simply just do not make any sense, and like I've also said before, some of the things you end up finding out there on deviantART, for example, are just plain disturbing.

EDIT: What an amusing coincidence that Drtooth mentioned Rule 34 in his previous post, and the post number just happens to be #34.

Then of course, the other problem too is when some artists that you actually watch suddenly up and that's all they ever do anymore; like one guy I used to watch, all he ever does anymore is nude cartoon babes, that's ALL he ever does anymore.

Speaking of "Oncest" (BTW, why DID they make the Oncler look like the kid from the original?), another artist I used to watch seemed to really get into doing Alvin and Simon incest there for a while... O.O

But yeah, some stuff out there... *shudders*

It's just that Dr. Seuss style that all characters look the same. The Once-ler's head shape is very different. Only thing that's similar is the hair color. Although, There ARE hints that The Onceler and Ted could be related. Popular theory is that Onceler is his grandfather

But I mean, even though we never saw the Oncler's head or face, the rest of his appearanced appeared to be that of a smooth/clean-shaven Grinch; I guess I'm surprised they made him an actual human in the movie.

Oh, I never do searches. Well... except that one time I looked up Muteking. Justifiably, that's the one thing you can look up and only find safe pictures of since no one has ever heard of it. Which is a real thorn in my side, as I did at least 4 pieces featuring those characters.

I bet that's all that would pop up on a search. My 4 pieces and one other thing.

And if you look at favorites of people that favorite your stuff? I gave that up (with the exception of one follower who likes obscure crap almost, if not more than I do) after getting annoyed by cheaply made nasty political messages and seeing one too many creepy rule 34's. But more so the former. But the truly shocking thing is there's a lot of that stuff that's so incredibly well done, overly professional looking, and absolutely beautiful considering the subject nature. I've seen some clumsy crap before, but the worst ones are the ones that are experts in well done creepy stuff.

But enough of that.
