Apparently Pluto is now no longer classified as a legit planet, but has been demoted to a "dwarf planet". So now, the solar system consists of 8 planets instead of 9...but then again, there's still the issue of that supposedly new planet currently dubbed as "Xena".

So is the new one in the asteroid belt....

But I don't care what the say! There are 9 planets and Pluto is one of them! I did a planetary report on Pluto it's a planet! I has 2 moons! I was taught it was a planet! I feel so violated! Its like that Columbus fiasco! Why do our teachers lie to us?!

....ok, I'm done now.....

I think they're all silly billies and Pluto will always be a planet to me.

Two moons? Thought it was just the one named Charon.

Frankly, this smacks of high-falluting scientist jerkism to me.
Of course there are nine planets in the solar system.
What? Change the acronym to MVEMJSUN? Change that catchy song from School House Rock about Interplanet Janet?
Nope, don't think so.

This is just as silly as when they changed it from nine Lucky Charms charms down to eight with the "blue moon" debacle.

Actually, they recently discovered another small body orbiting Pluto. So yes, it has two moons.

No, I think this is sillier than the Lucky Charms thing. Marshmallows are serious business.

It's not a recent discovery...I did that planetary report in 3rd grade and I'm a senior in high school now...

If it's such a serious business... Then why haven't they corrected their mistake?
It's not blue moons... It's supposed to be yellow moons and blue diamonds! Honestly, how do you hope to have all that rainbow magic to help you get away from the kids if there's such an important arch, the yellow one, not represented?
And don't get me started with indigo...

I know. The absence of the diamonds creates a gaping hole in my sugar-loaded breakfast. I've sent several petitions and threats in, but to no avail.

Okay. Not so recent. But it's there all the same.
