Don't get me wrong, I know the long history of Proto Man's Racer X style in the video game source vs the animated series that dealt with that version of Mega Man. I was sort of referencing a L'il formers comic I read on deviant art... can't remember exactly how it went at the moment.

Something to the extent of "Meet the diverse characters of Mega Man. Proto Man... Mega man's sometimes friend and sometimes enemy. Bass... Mega Man's sometimes friend sometimes enemy" Not an exact quote, of course... I gotta look that thing up for the exact one.

But no doubt Proto will be introduced as a villain, but become something else later.

That said, I hope this goes more like the Archie TMNT series (superior to both the regular comic and cartoon series by combining them both) and not like Sonic the Hedgehog (great at first, then became sort of long winded). I wish we got the Fleetway ones published here... those sounded great.
