Animatronic eye kit

I saw this today while doing some research and wanted to share...it's an off-the-shelf animatronic eye kit. It can provide up, down, right, left eye movement as well as blinks. Could easily be tied in to a standard 3 channel radio controller and used in a puppet.

There would be a bit of learning curve involved in setting this up if you're unfamiliar with animatronics, but it looks like a cool (if somewhat expensive) kit to play around with.

Yeah. I saw that one. It is a wee bit pricy.

If someone with a knowlege of animatronics were to put together a kit with all the parts required and some instructions all at a cheaper price, they'd make a killing.

Yeah, but as animatronics go $300-400 is actually a pretty good price. Just parts alone you're probably looking at a minimum $200-300 for the components that go in to a kit like that with the servos, control board, R/C controller, eyes and parts. And then there's the labour and a profit margin on top of that.
