Animal's Inspiration

Need your help and knowledge, people!

A radio station here in Arizona stated not long ago that the inspiration for Animal as the drummer for Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood. Is this true? I have tried look in "Jim Henson: The Works" without any luck. Any thoughts? I will admit, if you watch Mick play, you can see a bit of resemblance...

He was inspired mainly after Keith Moon, drummer for The Who.

Mick Fleetwood

Before doing any kind of search on the issue, my best guess was Mick Fleetwood too, but there's a source online that points to Keith Moon (http://members.tripod.com/~muppets/mayhem.html). Does that mean it's true? Who knows....
