A friend of mine just sent me this really neat math trick and I wanted to share it with all of you.

1. Grab a calculator (you won't be able to do this one in your head)
2. Key in the first 3 digits of your phone / cell phone number (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2

Do you recognize the answer ?

These types of things are always so neat to me. And I also what wonder what else the people who come up with these things do in their spare time.

Thanks for sharing!

I've seen it before too. But yeah, I would like to know what kind of person sat there and figured it out. Was it just a random mashing of numbers or actuall logic involved...The world may never know!
