I just found the old American Express commercial with Jim Henson yesterday on YouTube, and watched it several times.

While this one is overall a higher quality.

Some observations...

There's a photo of the Season One Miss Piggy to camera-right of the window.

The proto-Strangepork puppet has a 'live hand' to put on his hat.

And I think Scooter and Green Frackle were being performed simultaneously by one puppeteer. Concentrate on them and you can see that they often move in parallel.
