Well technically, Christians aren't a minority in America at least, it's just that the religion is not always very well respected. But being a Christian is a lot more than just going to Church (though it is very important). Christianity is a way of living your life. And it's not an easy way, it will never be entirely praised or popular with the society. Though, of course, no one should do it just to get praise.
By the same token, it's odd to me that people think they're not good Christians purely because they've decided not to attend Church. As I say, it's how your life affects other people that ultimately matters.
And it's pointless to place labels in certain groups, saying they're all "bad" or "good." People are people; some are decent, some are not, regardless of their group status.
Not that I want to start a huge thing, just giving my two cents.
