Here is a Muppet news flash:

At 11:04 a.m. ET this morning, we dropped Richard's quilt (along with a donation) off at the local UPS store. It's expected to arrive in Atlanta in about five days.

We took plenty of photos. I shall post one on my deviantART page (and e-mail one to Amanda and the family) as soon as I have them on a CD; they're all on my dad's computer upstairs right now.

All right, I've been busy helping prep for a huge party we're having for the neighbors tomorrow night (fifty people, including ourselves, will be at this little brawl), but I have the final, finished, completed photo of Richard's quilt posted for your viewing pleasure:

And I shall send a copy to Amanda as soon as I have a few more spare moments on my hands.

It's so beautiful...it's ended up being my Christmas present to Richard, Lord love him.

Wow, I just got Mom to look at it and she was very impressed. That's so sweet that it's your Christmas gift to Richard; I have no doubt he appreciates it.
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but was it just the resolution that turned Beaker white, or is my plushy just a bit off?

Well, for Beaker, my mom used a rather pale pink fabric. And everything looks really light because of the camera flash, so it's probably neither your resolution nor your plush.

Does Richard appreciate it? I'll ask him. (leans back and looks skyward) Well, Richard, how does it look from up there?

Oh good. I knew it wasn't the way it was made.
 It was my mom, (who after all is my eyes), who had doubts.

Yeah it's probably the camera flash, that can be so annoying. But the quilt's definitely great, MN

Yeah, the flash can be annoying - especially when it makes your pupils contract and causes little spots to dance before your eyes. But it does kind of make the paint glow a bit, so there you go.

Update:

I know it's been posted in two other threads already, but the block containing Richard's panel is now posted on the AIDS quilt web site. It's block #5765, just spotted it fifteen minutes ago.
