That SO reminds me of the Sound of Music. Liesel and her Rolf sing about their ages. Wouldn't it be SO funny to live in a musical for 24 hours? Seriously, think about it! Whenever something dramatic, sad, happy, important, or funny happens, everyone can break out into song and dance!
OMG! Wouldn't it be a funny skit if Rowlf the Dog did a take off on that, singing with Liesl? LOL!

I'm 16. My name is Justin, I have my permit, and I hate driving.

I wish I were eighteen, but I am apparently the oldest one here.

LOL! That would rock!! I LOVE musicals ("Sound of Music" is actually probably my all-time favorite). My brother hates it that people just burst out singing all the time, but I love it. And I love the songs that they sing. They're just so melodic usually, and have so much of a story behind them. If I could live in a musical, I'd probably have to go for either "Peter Pan" (so I could fly :stick_out_tongue: ) or, much more likely, "Mary Poppins," because that's just the greatest. And you could do so much fun stuff there. ("Mary Poppins" alternates with "Sound of Music" for my favorite musical - I don't know if I'd want to live in "The Sound of Music," though, with all those Nazis running around. ) I want to go jump into a chalk drawing now! (Side note: When I was in London, I made sure to go to St. Paul's, but there really weren't very many birds there, and definitely no bird women. ("Feed the Birds" is my favorite song from "Mary Poppins.") There were TONS of birds in Trafalgar Square, though. :stick_out_tongue: )

Ahh! I hated Mary Poppins! It's so odd cause I normally *love* Disney movies, but I couldn't stand that movie, mostly because I don't understand it! Firstly, where does Mary Poppins come from? Does it not creep anyone that she and her talking umbrella just fall from the sky?

Then this morning for some reason I was thinking of that scene where they all start laughing and float up to the ceiling. Egads! I don't understand that either.

Then that one part where Jane and Michael are running around after the old men at the bank sang the boring song about money and they keep running into scary people...*shudders*...that scene always creeped me out as a kid!

Or maybe I'm just psycho and need to re-watch the movie to fully understand it!

(I'd just like to point out that this post was not meant to offend anyone. I'm always so self concious about posting my opinions, even if on a topic as trivial as Mary Poppins! So nobody take this the wrong way! I'm just opinionated and loud! )

I'm old enough not to legally be required to answer questions about my age.

But young enough (23 at the end of the month) not to care.

LOL! I guess major suspension of disbelief is an essential factor in enjoying "Mary Poppins"! That's never been a problem for me, though, I think I'm more at home with fantasy than the real world. :stick_out_tongue: And that part after the run on the bank *is* scary - though I credit it for introducing me to the word "exaggerate"! :stick_out_tongue: It's funny how I remember how certain words came into my vocabulary... I guess I sort of think of Mary living up in a cloud-filled Care-A-Lot sort of place. That sounds pretty cool to me! And I've always wanted to fly, so I'd love it if laughing made me float up to the ceiling!!
