Amazingly
Beautiful
Creatures
Dancing
Excites the
Forest
Glade, in my
Heart how
I do
Jump like the
Kudo
Listen to the
Music so
Nice the
Organ
Plays.
Quietly
Rests the
Sleepy
Tiger
Under the
Vine tree at the
Water's side and
X marks the spot 'neath the
Yellow moon where the
Zulu king and I did hide.

Actually, I'm talking about a different version. It goes:
A is for Antelope(A)
And B is for Baboon(B-baboon)
C is for Cheetah running
Underneath the moon.
D's for Duck, don't forget(duck-don't forget)
E's for Elephant, get set(E-elephant, get set)
It's the African Animal Alphabet.
F is frequently for Frog(F-F-F-Frog)
And G is for Giraffe.(G-Giraffe)
H is Hippopotamus, here's a laugh.(Ha ha!)
I's for Ibis, that's a bird.(Ibis, that's a bird)
J's Jenoa, brand new word(Jenoa, brand new word)
In the African Animal Alphabet.
Then there's Kingfisher that starts with K(K)
L is for Lizard(L), now we're halfway
M is for Monkey(M-M-Monkey)
N is for Newt(N-N-Newt)
O is for Oakapi
P is for Peacock(Peacock), he's a beauty
Q is for Queen bee
and R is nice for Rabbit
And for Salamander, S is still the habit
T's for Tiger, what a cat
U's for Umbabird, what's that?
It's the African Animal Alphabet.
Viper starts with V
And for Warthog-W
And for Xerus, only letter X will do
Y's for Yak, and yes, my friend,
Z's for Zebra at the end
Of the African Animal Alphabet.
Yes, the African Animal Alphabet.

Yes, that's how I remember that wonderful song. Only, the J creature was actually pronounced, Jerboa.
