I'm really digging Abbey Road by the Beatles. It's a really creative record the Fab Four made back in 1969 right before they broke up. "You Never Give Me Your Money" to "Her Majesty" make me feel I'm reading a story and have to get to the end to find out what happenes.

It's definitely some of the Beatles' best. I love the whole song collage thing at the end of Abbey Road too.

One of the highlights of my life was walking across Abbey Road in London.

But my favorite Beatles albums are Rubber Soul and Revolver.

Abbey Road is definetly one of my faves. I also like Sgt. Pepper.

It's funny...as a former collector, I went thru a Pepper thing, and a Revolver/Rubber soul thing, a first-four-albums-early-sounds thing, even a bootleg raw in Hamburg thing!! I think, though, that I've settled on Abbey Road as the most fun record to listen to, especially that second side montage.

Great stuff, isn't it?

Oh, yeah, also a rather long period of time where I pretty much only listened to the mono pressing of the White Album, too. Not just "only" but mostly. That's not so bad, either, as it's a great piece of art, but it's a little too expensive to get the original mono!!

Wow, was I ever picky back then!

Abbey Road is great, but I can't decide whether my favorite is that, White Album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, or Magical Mystery Tour. I really like about the same number of songs from each album.

"Because" is hauntingly beautiful. Gives me chills. And sometimes I feel silly saying... that "Octopus's Garden" was my first favorite Beatles song. :embarrassed:
