Actually, there was an animated segment I believe was called "Beginning, Middle And An End" that was done in the style of Talking Heads' "And She Was". The singer even sounded like David Byrne (one never knows, with all the celebs the show has attracted, Byrne might've provided vocals...Slim chance, though).
The lead vocal in the "Beginning/Middle/End" song with books was Paul Jacobs. The band didn't have a name, but I would call them Talking Books. Since the animation had some of those in it. It's a great song, one of my favorites.
